How to apply

Create your account

Register with a valid email address. You will receive a confirmation link to activate your account. One email = one account.

Accept GDPR and contact terms

Confirm your consent for data processing and that you may be contacted by universities regarding your application.

Select programmes

Search programmes by study cycle, university, field, language, city, and duration. Add up to 5 programmes from the same study cycle.

Applying for Romanian-language programmes? You will need a Romanian language certificate or you may select a preparatory language year.

Enter personal information

Provide your passport details, date and place of birth, nationality, parents' information, and country of residence.

Upload required documents

Identity documents
Passport copy
Birth certificate copy
Academic documents (per cycle)
High school diploma (Baccalaureate) or certificate
Bachelor's degree (if applying for Master/PhD)
Master's degree (if applying for PhD)
Language documents (if applicable)
Romanian language competency certificate
All documents must be originals and/or authorised translations.

Review and submit

Review your full application, confirm consent for university contact, and submit. A confirmation will appear in the platform and be sent to your email.

Quick answers

How many programmes can I apply to?
Up to 5 programmes within the same study cycle (e.g. 5 Bachelor's programmes).
Is there a fee?
The platform is free to use. However, individual universities may charge an application review fee.
Can I edit my application after submission?
If a university requests additional documents, the platform re-opens the upload section for that application.
What if I'm accepted by multiple universities?
You can confirm only one programme. Confirming your place at one university automatically notifies the others.

How to join the platform

Express interest

Submit an official letter declaring your institution's availability and intention to participate in the PPPA. Participation is entirely voluntary.

Receive your master account

A master account will be created for your institution. You may then create individual sub-accounts for each participating faculty.

Select and publish programmes

Filter and activate specific study programmes from the current RMU nomenclature to make them visible and selectable on the platform.

Set admission conditions

Add programme-specific admission information and link to detailed requirements published on your Study in Romania profile.

Review and respond to applications

Receive notifications for incoming applications. Conduct your evaluation process and communicate with applicants. Mark results directly in the platform.

Is participation mandatory?
No. Participation is entirely voluntary. Institutions decide which programmes to activate.
Can we manage individual faculties separately?
Yes. The master account can create sub-accounts at faculty level with separate credentials.
What data do we receive about applicants?
You receive applicant name, country of origin, study cycle, and programme applied for. Email access is granted only if the student confirms contact consent.
